
Resolving Shoulder Dystocia
Join us for ReStory Birthwork® Resolving Shoulder Dystocia for obstetricians, nurses, midwives and student midwives. Using anatomical knowledge for creating space to free a baby where it happens to be stuck. We will cover normal birth and normal rotations, deviation, when to help, maneuvers to help at the various levels, and what to do when you don’t know what to do. We will also cover FlipFLOP to free a baby which utilizes upright, mobile breech solutions as well as solutions for supine birth. This 7 hour class is a great way for your team to review and practice for this emergency. We will be using the model of knowing normal and restoring normal. 7 CE hours through CA Board of Registered Nursing and 7 CE hours through MEAC Continuing Professional Development. Breech Basics

Join us for ReStory Birthwork® Breech Basics for obstetricians, nurses, midwives and student midwives. Covers breech birth from a midwifery model of mobile vaginal breech birth. We will review the normal and usual cardinal movements of frank breech birth with simulations through the three levels of the pelvis. Once we embody reassuring breech, we will discuss deviation, timing, maneuvers, and extenuating circumstances. We will have foam models for simulations. This 7 hour class is a great way for your team to review and practice for this emergency. Breech Body Balancing
Come and join us while we discuss how you can help families navigate their way through breech decision-making in the third trimester. Review palpation and information gathering for breech presentation, and acquire body balancing tools involving assessment, massage, pressure, gravity, and movement. We will also talk about pain patterns in pregnancy-related to the same soft tissues that affect fetal positioning.
